    Who are BUSCAFITES?
    They are people who dedicate their free time to search for targets in the woods and fields, crossing rivers and streams, bordering lakes, up and down hills, along roads and trails, losing or trying not to get lost in the middle of nature. Accompanied only with a map, a compass and an electronic sportident, can be found up and down concentrating on their research. Do not worry, they are not dangerous. But if you go to their world will surely be contagious passion for orienteering.

  3. Personalized WOO where users can choose which pages to show

    Long term plan which might never be realized. Would require users who want a personalized page to log in and create a profile where you can choose which pages to include / not include on the personalized front page. Would make it feasible to have a lot more pages included in WOO than today, as users could easily opt out on the pages they don't like. Is this something users would want, or not worth the effort?

    Virtual Orienteering is a game played outdoor inspired from Orienteering sport.
    The game concept is to use a GPS capable mobile device to replace the printed map and real control check-posts.
    There is no need to be someone involved in mounting control posts on the field because the GPS capable device will validate reaching the control points. All you need to do is to start playing on one of existing tracks, made by you or by your community friends.

  9. Possibility to comment on news stories

    I had a test implemented which wasn't used too much - so I removed it again. Still, I think it would be good to have some kind of discussion on some of the news - but maybe users don't think so and I shouldn't bother?

  10. Permanent Courses on maps.worldofo.com

    It would be nice to have an archive of all Permanent Courses around the world. I think its a good thing, when you want to make orienteering on holidays.
    I thought about creating a new site for that. But i think its better to add such an option on worldofo.

  13. Auto-import Swiss o-calendar to World of O Calendar

    Was nearly there a year or so ago - but was postponed. Still on the todo-list - should it be pushed up? The Swiss o-calendar already has geolocation for most races, and could thus be directly imported.
